Le Centre Jean Perrin (CJP) a entamé cette année une démarche de labellisation OECI (Organisation Européenne of Cancer Institute). La recherche fera l’objet d’une évaluation attentive avec un niveau d’exigence élevé rappelant pour certains chapitres celui demandé pour les équipes INSERM. Le rapport d’activité est un document central devant intégrer, l’organisation scientifique du site, le projet scientifique réactualisé au besoin tous les ans. Nous présentons ainsi une nouvelle version du rapport d’activité scientifique intégrant les axes scientifiques du centre. Les deux axes présentés dans ce document sont issus des axes 1 et 2 du projet de l’équipe RoBust de l’UMR1240 INSERM, axes portés par le CJP. Le premier porte sur le développement de biomarqueurs l’autre sur la recherche translationelle en médecine nucléaire. Ces deux axes ont été actualisés pour cette édition.

En 2022,126 articles référencés dans MEDLNE ont été publiés par les équipes du CJP, confirmant la dynamique positive engagée en 2019 avec une augmentation du nombre de publication en comparaison avec 2021 (121 articles). Le facteur d’impact moyen reste en fort progression, 25/126 (20%) publications ont un facteur d’impact supérieur > 10 démontrant la très bonne qualité des articles publiés par les chercheurs du CJP.

Coté recherche clinique, le nombre d’essais cliniques interventionnels ouverts au CJP était de 135. Parmi ces essais, 12 essais sont promus par le centre comprenant six essais multicentriques et six essais monocentriques. L’activité de promotion est stable : 47 recherches non-interventionnelles ont également été gérées en 2022 dont 18 pour lesquelles le CJP est à l’initiative.

Concernant les inclusions, 2898 inclusions ont été gérées par la Division de Recherche Clinique du centre comprenant 665 patients inclus dans des recherches interventionnelles et 2223 dans des recherches non interventionnelles. Dans les essais interventionnels, 414 ont été inclus au Centre Jean Perrin et 251 patients inclus dans les centres extérieurs investigateurs des essais pour lesquels le centre est promoteur. La Division de Recherche Clinique est certifiée ISO 9001 : V2015 pour concevoir, mettre en œuvre, analyser et valoriser les essais de recherche clinique (promotion) et étudier la faisabilité des essais, sélectionner, mettre en place des essais, inclure et suivre les patients (investigation). Un audit de suivi a été réalisé le 18 janvier 2021 puis le 14 mars 2022.

Le Centre a pu s’appuyer sur les forces de l’UMR IMOST 1240 depuis 2017 et ainsi renforcer sa visibilité et revendiquer l’excellence du label INSERMINSERM. Comme rappelé ci-dessous, deux axes de l’unité IMOST sont portés par les chercheurs du Centre, les autres axes étant pour la plupart en connexion directe avec les thématiques développées par le Centre. Le mandat actuel arrivera à échéance en 2026. L’année 2024 sera un année charnière, celle de la construction du projet 2026-2032. Le centre se mobilise en ce sens. Enfin, un conseil scientifique international évaluera la production scientifique et les projets stratégiques de l’UMR IMOST dans le dernier semestre de l’année. Nous savons pouvoir compter sur l'engagement et la mobilisation de l'ensemble de forces vives du Centre Jean Perrin pour que cet évènement soit une réussite !

The Centre Jean Perrin (CJP) has embarked on an OECI (European Organization of Cancer Institutes) accreditation process. Research will be carefully evaluated, with a high level of requirements, similar in some respects to those required of INSERM teams.The two areas presented in this document are based on areas 1 and 2 of the RoBust team's project at UMR1240 INSERM, which are supported by the CJP. The first focuses on the development of biomarkers and the second on translational research in nuclear medicine. These two areas have been updated for this edition.

In 2022, 126 articles referenced in MEDLNE were published by CJP teams, confirming the positive momentum begun in 2019 with an increase in the number of publications compared with 2021 (121 articles).The average impact factor continues to rise sharply, with 25/126 (20%) publications having an impact factor greater than 10, demonstrating the very high quality of the articles published by CJP researchers.

In terms of clinical research, the number of interventional clinical trials open at the CJP was 135. Of these, 12 were promoted by the Center, including six multicenter trials and six monocenter trials. Promotion activity is stable: 47 non-interventional studies were also managed in 2022, 18 of which were initiated by the CJP.

In terms of inclusions, 2,898 were managed by the CJP's Clinical Research Division, including 665 patients included in interventional research and 2,223 in non-interventional research. In the interventional trials, 414 patients were included at the Centre Jean Perrin and 251 patients were included in external Centers investigating trials for which the Center is the sponsor. The Clinical Research Division has ISO 9001: V2015 certification for designing, implementing, analysing and developing clinical research trials (promotion) and studying the feasibility of trials, selecting, setting up trials, enrolling and monitoring patients (investigation). A follow-up audit was carried out on 18 January 2021 and again on 14 March 2022.

The CJP has been able to draw on the strengths of UMR IMOST 1240 since 2017, thereby enhancing its visibility and claiming the excellence of the INSERM label. As mentioned below, two of the IMOST unit's axes are led by the CJP's researchers, with most of the other axes being directly connected to the themes developed by the CJP. The current mandate will expire in 2026. The year 2024 will be a pivotal one, as we build the 2026-2032 project. The CJP is working hard on this. Finally, an international scientific council will assess the scientific output and strategic projects of the UMR IMOST in the last half of the year. we know we can count on the commitment and mobilization of all the driving forces at the CJP to make this event a success!
